What does this mean?
Skogstad comes from a little village, nestled at the end of fjord, called Innvik. The people of Innvik drink from a water source that comes directly off Europe’s largest glacier, Jostedalsbreen. Every day they are drinking water that has taken 5000 years to make.
Now THAT is some pure water.
People call Skogstad PURE NORWEGIAN DESIGN.
It is pure because it is imagined, designed and produced with an intimate knowledge of nature and what is needed to stay dry, warm and protected.
Clothing that protects doesn’t need to be complicated. We have realized over time that simple works. Wool keeps you warm. FACT.
We don’t mean to brag, but Norwegians know weather. We see it all throughout the year. Our winters are some of the longest and harshest out there. Our summers are long, though. Almost 24 hours sunlight and they can be warm, wet and windy.
Traditionally, Norwegian clothing is clothing that works. At Skogstad we add a bit of style, a whole chunk of know-how and the result is PURE NORWEGIAN DESIGN.
PURE NORWEGIAN DESIGN is our commitment to making quality, effective clothing that is fashionable for the hills, for the slopes, for the high street, and, well, for whatever it is you and your family likes to do when you’re out adventuring.
