Our clothes have been designed with activity in mind. Everything is thought about. Everything has a purpose in our designs.  Our clothes have been made with the following activities in mind:

You can ski in our clothes. Downhill and Cross Country. Whatever takes your fancy.

You can walk, hike, trek, summit, amble, march, trot, ride, meander in our clothes.

You can jump, leap, fall, roll, trip up, slip, get pulled by the dog in our clothes.

You can build a den, fashion a bow and arrow, play catch, build a dam in our clothes.

You can pop to the shops or walk to school in our clothes.

You can experience temperatures from -15 to +35 in our clothes.

You can wear four layers or you can wear just one.

You can camp, bivouac, caravan, RV, and B&B in our clothes.

You can do it all and you can do it looking good.

 

Technical Jacket

Our technical jackets are designed to withstand the elements.  They will be hard wearing, waterproof, sometimes insulated. They will allow you to get out an enjoy the outdoors whatever the weather.  They are what we wear when walk mountains and coats, go to the beach on a rainy day and go skiing.  Hopefully you should find a technical jacket to suit your needs and look good.

 

Down Jacket

We create our down jackets to keep you warm when the temperature drops.  They are filled with ethically sourced goose down and will perform even in the lowest temperatures.  Our down jackets come in all sizes and colours, for adults and kids, and can be brightly coloured or in the usual black.

 

 

Underwear

In Norway we know that base layer underwear has to be wool.  Wool keeps you warm even when it is wet.  A good merino wool base layer will make sure you stay warm.  Ours are always Merino wool.

 

Fleece

You can't beat a fleece for throwing on when you need extra warmth.  They are great under jackets, as an extra layer when the weather gets cold, as an outdoor jacket when the weather is better and for wearing inside after a day out in the elements.  Ours are treated with anti pill to stop the fabric clumping.

 

Zips

An active lifestyle means that our jackets should be used in all weathers and conditions which can result in some pretty rough treatment.  It is important that all elements of the jacket can withstand this, not least the zip.  We, therefore, only use YKK zips to make sure that they have every chance of lasting as long as the jacket. 

 

Hoods

Skogstad jackets are designed with Norwegian weather in mind. This means wind, rain and snow and plenty of them.  Our hoods are therefore adjustable to make sure they stay on your head no matter how hard the wind is blowing. 

 

 

Snow Skirts and Cuffs

Our clothes are intended for all sorts of activities including skiing.  Some of the technical jackets are fitted with snow skirts and cuffs to enable you to ski with confidence and keep the snow out of your sleeves and from going up your back.  You can slip your hands through the cuffs if you don't want to use them and the snow skirts are removable should you not need them.
